Privacy Policy
Family Pet Services (“we,” “us”) is a locally owned pet cremation and aftercare business in Tucson, Arizona. This policy explains what information we collect through myfamilypetservices.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Messages and requests. When you use a contact, clinic, or 3D urn form, we collect your name, email, phone number, your pet's name and details, and your message.
- Orders. When you buy from our keepsake store, checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment card, billing and shipping details, and any engraving or pet-name text you enter. We receive your order details and contact information; we never see or store your full card number.
- Photos. If you send us photos for a custom 3D urn, we use them only to create your piece (see “Who we share information with”).
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These may record pages viewed, the device and browser you use, your general location (city level), the site or ad that referred you, and actions like tapping our phone number, submitting a form, or starting checkout.
We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads for this. Google may use cookies to show you our ads on other sites and to measure whether those ads led to a call or visit. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and arrange services you ask for
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and send order confirmations
- To create custom keepsakes you order, such as 3D pet urns and engraving
- To understand and improve our website and advertising
- To comply with the law and protect against fraud
We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing (Stripe privacy policy)
- Resend — delivering emails from our forms and order confirmations
- Vercel — website hosting
- Google — analytics and advertising (how Google uses data from sites that use its services)
- Our custom keepsake partners — for example, the studio that produces 3D pet urns receives the photos and details needed to make your piece
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ad Settings, and out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, by calling us or using our contact page. We'll keep only what we're legally required to keep, such as order records.
How long we keep information
We keep messages and order records as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements, then delete them.
Security
Our site is served over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share.
Children
Our website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
